Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has recently introduced a facility on its digital banking platform, Community Cash, enabling customers to apply for opening Beneficiary Owner (BO) accounts directly through the app.
Community Bank Investment Limited (CBIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Community Bank Bangladesh, will subsequently facilitate the BO account opening process. CBIL is engaged in the bank’s investment banking and capital market-related activities.
The facility was formally inaugurated by Community Bank Bangladesh MD and Community Bank Investment Limited Director Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin. Senior officials of both organisations were present at the time, said a press release on Sunday.
