A romantic music video, ‘Bondhu Tomay Ekti Kotha Bolte Chai’, has been released ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. The special Eid song features the voices of popular Bangladeshi singers Agun and Dr Shampa Dewan.
Produced by Artbox Music, this marks the second release in Shampa Dewan’s ongoing 50-song video project. The lyrics, melody and arrangement have been composed by Agun. Rokon Khan and Faiza Islam star in the video, which is directed by Soumitra Ghosh Emon.
Once a regular feature in the mainstream music scene, Agun now primarily contributes to festival-oriented tracks. Speaking about the song, he said, “I have worked on this piece with utmost sincerity. This is my special gift for listeners this Eid. Shampa Dewan’s voice has given the song a completely new dimension.”
Shampa Dewan added, “The lyrics, melody, and music were composed by my favourite artist, Agun. He has poured extraordinary dedication and care into this work. Every line of the song carries deep emotion and heartfelt feeling.”
She continued, “This song is very close to my heart. I have tried to express simple yet profound words of love through its melody. I hope it will hold a special place in the hearts of the audience.”
The project is overseen by Artbox Music’s creative director, musician and director SK Sameer. He said, “Our aim is not just to release songs but to create high-quality musical and visual experiences. In this track, we have paid special attention to story, cinematography and sound. Shampa Dewan’s fifty-song project is part of a long-term plan to present diverse, quality works continuously. We also aim to provide a professional platform for new and talented artists to showcase their skills.”
It is reported that a drama production will soon be launched under the Artbox Music banner.
