Abu Hayat Mahmud’s film ‘Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka’ premiered this Eid but fell short of audience and exhibitor expectations. Lead actor Shakib Khan publicly expressed regret over the reception, yet attention has also turned to his conduct at a recent event.
During the film’s special screening, a viral video shows co-actresses Tasnia Farin and Jyotirmoyee Kundu appearing visibly uncomfortable. The footage appears to show Shakib repeatedly touching Jyotirmoyee’s waist, while Tasnia Farin pushed his hand away from her shoulder.
The incidents have sparked debate on social media, drawing more attention to claims of unprofessional behaviour than to the film’s box office performance.
When approached by Indian media, Jyotirmoyee declined to comment, stating, “I do not want to say anything in this regard.”
