Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation has donated Tk2.5 million to complete the unfinished boys’ hostel of Madrasah Darul Hadith Salafiah in Panchrukhi village under Araihazar in Narayanganj district, the foundation said in a press release.
The cheque was handed over on 27 June 2026 to Muhammad Masudul Alam, Principal of the madrasa, by K M Harunur Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation and In-charge of the bank’s Public Relations Department.
The donation is intended to support completion work of the hostel facility for the institution, located in Panchrukhi village.
Md Kamal Miah, Executive Officer of Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation, and teachers of Madrasah Darul Hadith Salafiah were also present during the cheque handover ceremony.
