Standard Islami Bank PLC held its 428th board meeting at the bank’s head office boardroom in Dhaka on 28 June 2026, where directors reviewed key governance and operational matters, the bank said in a press release.
The meeting was chaired by Gulzar Ahmed, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by board members and senior executives, including directors, independent directors and representatives from Bangladesh Bank.
Among those present were Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar Saha, Ferozur Rahman, S A Md Hossain, Al haj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Md Zahedul Hoque, Ferdous Ali Khan, Ashit Kumar Saha and Jhahedul Alam, along with Independent Directors Golam Hafiz Ahmed and Khondoker Rumy Ehsanul Huq.
Md Sharafat Ullah Khan, observer of Standard Islami Bank PLC and Director (PSD) of Bangladesh Bank, also attended the meeting.
Senior management present included Managing Director Riad Mahmud Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director Md Siddiqur Rahman and Company Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman FCS.
