Actress Nusraat Faria believes marriage should come when a person is emotionally ready, not simply because they have reached a certain age.
In a recent interview, Faria said she hopes to settle down soon but wants to make the decision when she feels mentally prepared.
She said a lasting marriage requires patience, mutual understanding and the ability to keep personal ego in check. Friendship and shared happiness, she added, are essential when choosing a life partner.
Faria also stressed that marriage should not mean putting a career or personal ambitions on hold. Instead, partners should support each other in pursuing new goals.
Commenting on changing attitudes towards relationships, the actress said people are increasingly prioritising mental health over social expectations. She believes staying in an unhappy relationship solely to avoid public criticism is unwise, as long as decisions are made without hurting others.
