Due to dense fog, several flights at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka were diverted to alternative airports on Saturday as a safety measure.
Among the diverted flights, three were rerouted to Chattogram airport, four to Kolkata airport, and one to Bangkok airport, according to a press release.
Flight operations will resume normally once weather conditions improve. Airlines concerned are providing meals and hotel accommodation to passengers of delayed flights as required.
