Seven assistant commissioners of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred as part of an administrative reshuffle.
DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed issued an office order regarding the transfers on Thursday.
According to the order, Mushfiqur Rahman Tushar of the Transport Division has been transferred to the Chakbazar Zone, while Tania Sultana of the Traffic-Pallabi Zone has been posted to the Women Support and Investigation Division.
Sheikh Suraiya Urmi from the Procurement Division has been transferred to POM-West, and Md Mahfuzar Rahman of the Chakbazar Zone has been posted to Bangabhaban Security-1.
The order also transferred Nusrat Yasmin Tisha to the Traffic-Pallabi Zone, Mohammad Saiful Islam to Patrol-Cantonment, and Md Sakilur Rahman to the North Division of the Detective Branch’s Cyber and Special Crime unit.
The transferred officers have been instructed to hand over their current responsibilities and join their new workplaces by 6 August, according to the office order.
