BNP senior leader Salahuddin Ahmed on Saturday urged vigilance to ensure that the killing of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inquilab Mancha, is not politically exploited to create chaos.

“We have strongly condemned the brutal killing, but fallen fascist forces or anyone seeking to disrupt the election must not be allowed to use the incident for political gain,” he said, calling on everyone to remain vigilant.

Salahuddin, a Standing Committee member of BNP, made the remarks while speaking to reporters before attending Hadi’s namaz-e-janaza at the capital’s Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
