Dhaka’s Rupnagar police carried out a day-long special operation across the jurisdiction, arresting 11 individuals linked to various criminal activities.
The arrested include Md Suman Molla, 32; Md Parvez, 23; Md Uzzal, 25; Md Jalil, 52; Md Iqbal, 46; Mirazul Islam, 19; Md Sabuj Sheikh, 24; Md Hridoy, 20; Shakil Hossain, 32; Md Siraj, 35; and Mosha Kamrunnahar, 52.
Rupnagar Police sources said the operation targeted multiple locations within the police station’s jurisdiction to crack down on ongoing crimes.
The detainees were handed over to the competent Special Metropolitan Magistrate for further legal action.
Authorities assured that similar operations would continue to maintain law and order in the area.
