Presenter Ruhani Salsabil, also known as Ruhani Labannya, is celebrating her birthday on 18 October with a heavy heart following the recent death of her mother.
The presenter has kept the day free from professional commitments and plans to spend time with her family. She also intends to visit her mother’s grave, located near her home.
Ruhani said this birthday feels particularly lonely without her mother and father, who is currently staying in Bogura.
“I feel an emptiness inside me this birthday because my mother is no longer beside me. I may have to carry this loss for the rest of my life. No one will care for me the way she did,” she said, asking everyone to pray for her mother’s eternal peace.
Meanwhile, Ruhani has started hosting ‘Star Time’, a celebrity talk show on Asian TV. Actor Faruk Ahmed appeared as the guest in its first episode.
She has recently focused more on stage shows across Dhaka and other parts of the country, alongside her television work.
