Bangladesh under-19s had to settle for a drawn ODI series in England after rain washed out three of the five matches. Both sides managed one win each, while the weather claimed the rest.
The tourists began strongly, sealing the opening match with a commanding 87-run victory. England hit back in the second game, which had been shortened to 45 overs due to rain, levelling the series 1-1.
The third ODI was reduced further to 23 overs. Bangladesh batted first, but England never got the chance to chase as rain forced the match to be abandoned without result.
Similar frustrations followed in the fourth fixture, another 45-over contest. England managed to bat, but Bangladesh were denied their innings by heavy showers, leaving the game abandoned once again.
The decisive fifth match, scheduled for 14 September, did not see a single ball bowled. Persistent downpour led officials to call off the contest, ensuring the series ended in stalemate at 1-1.
