More corruption charges could be heading toward Bangladesh cricket, BCB Integrity Unit independent chair Alex Marshall said during a press conference on Saturday.
Marshall said the unit has already announced charges against seven people, while another person has been declared excluded.
“There are more cases under investigation, and you may see more charges in the near future,” Marshall said.

But he refused to discuss the names of people still being investigated, saying the process must remain confidential until a case is completed.
Marshall also addressed the players who were left out of BPL 2026 after negative information appeared in a 900-page report.
He said the advice given at the time was only for that edition of the BPL and involved more than nine people, including both local and foreign figures.
“There are no restrictions on any of the players taking part in cricket, unless they are currently charged, and none of them have been charged. Therefore, they are clear to play,” he said.
Marshall explained that investigations can end in three ways. A person can be charged if there is strong evidence, kept under review if the evidence is not enough, or cleared if no evidence is found.
He also said that the Integrity Unit operates independently and does not take instructions on who to investigate or how to conduct an investigation.
