The Premier Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Shanta Holdings Limited to relocate its head office from Iqbal Tower to the 40-storey Shanta Pinnacle building in Dhaka.
The relocation agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by representatives from both organisations, according to a statement.
The new head office will be located in Shanta Pinnacle, described as an eco-friendly high-rise commercial tower in the capital.
Premier Bank PLC Chairman Dr Arifur Rahman attended the signing ceremony along with Independent Director and Premier Bank Securities Limited Chairman M Nurul Alam and Managing Director Current Charge Md Monzur Mofiz.
Shanta Holdings Limited was represented by Chief Executive Officer M Habibul Basit, Executive Director Group Finance M Anisul Haque and Chief Sales Officer Mohammad Shihab Ahmed.
Senior officials from both organisations were also present at the event.
Premier Bank PLC Chairman Dr Arifur Rahman said relocating the head office to the new building marks a milestone in the bank’s expansion and development.
The new office is expected to provide expanded workspace, improved infrastructure and modern facilities to support banking operations and customer services.
