The CID has arrested the widely discussed “porn star” couple, who are among the top figures in the international porn industry. The LIC and Cyber Police Center (CPC) unit arrested them from the Balaghata area of Hajipara in Bandarban district at around 3:30am on Monday morning. The arrested individuals are Muhammad Azim (28) and Brishti (28).
CID’s Special Police Super (Media) Jasim Uddin Khan informed that the arrested individuals are not only accused of creating porn videos themselves but also of illegal activities such as involving more people in their activities.
The arrested individuals, Muhammad Azim and Brishti, have become top contenders in the international performer rankings for porn stars in just one year and, as of October 2025, hold the eighth position among performers worldwide.
Their first video was released on an international platform in May 2024. Preliminary investigation reveals that within the next year, their total of 112 published videos have been viewed over 267 million times.
From their initial interrogation, it was learned that they used to upload videos to multiple international porn websites. Alongside this overt promotion, they also conducted promotions using the social media platforms Telegram, Facebook, and Instagram.
In these promotions, they published various messages enticing others to join the industry. When interested individuals contacted them via Telegram to become new creators, it was also their job to motivate the newcomers in various ways. For example, they advertised that cash would be paid for adding new creators to their Telegram channel.
Although this couple, who did not progress beyond primary school, came from poor families, there are many pictures online of their luxurious lifestyle. The CID’s LIC and Cyber Police Center (CPC) unit swiftly arrested this porn star couple after the story went viral on social media.
At that time, various equipment for creating porn videos, including mobile phones, SIM cards, cameras, and tripods, were seized from them as evidence.
A regular case will be filed against the arrested individuals, and they will be sent to court with a request for remand.
