Dhanmondi Model Thana Police arrested Md Jahidul Islam Babu, alias Burger Babu, an identified suspect in several mugging and drug cases, from the capital’s Dhanmondi area.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a raid at Sheikh Jamal Field on Road-8 around 8pm on Saturday evening.
According to the police, Babu is a notorious suspect involved in multiple mugging and narcotics cases filed with different police stations across Dhaka. He has been sent to court for further legal proceedings.
