The Peninsula Chittagong has launched its week-long Chinese and Thai food festival, “Dragon & Lotus Buffet Fest,” at its Laguna Restaurant. The festival offers an authentic culinary experience featuring a wide range of traditional and signature dishes.
The event, which began on 7 May, will continue until 13 May. The buffet menu is inspired by the vibrant flavours of China and Thailand, including appetisers, soups, main courses, and desserts, all prepared with authentic recipes and ingredients.

The food festival was officially inaugurated at a ceremony attended by Chairman Mustafa Tahir Arshad, General Manager Sumedha Gunawardana, along with the hotel’s departmental heads and associates.
Hotel authorities stated that the festival reflects the establishment’s commitment to culinary excellence and hospitality, while providing guests with the opportunity to explore the rich traditions of Chinese and Thai cuisine.
