An important exchange of views on the pre-election situation was held between NCP and diplomats from various European countries at the Gulshan residence of the European Union Ambassador on Wednesday from 4pm to 5:30pm.
The meeting was attended by the NCP Convener Nahid Islam, Joint Convener Sultan Mohammad Zakaria and Joint Member Secretary Alauddin Mohammad.
The meeting was led by the EU Ambassador to Bangladesh, Michael Miller. Also present were EU Deputy Ambassador Baiba Zarina, EU Embassy First Secretary (Political) Sebastian Rieger Braun, German Ambassador Rüdiger Lotz, Italian Ambassador Antonio Alessandro, Spanish Ambassador Gabriel Sistiga, Swedish Ambassador Nikolas Ragnar Weeks, Norwegian Ambassador Haakon Arald Gulbrandsen, Netherlands Deputy Ambassador Kus Dijkstra, and French Embassy Deputy Head of Mission Frederic Inza.
