The National Health Alliance (NHA), a platform of doctors backed by the National Citizen Party (NCP), has launched a 13-number helpline to provide medical assistance to families of children suffering from measles at various hospitals in Dhaka.
The initiative aims to support distressed families whose children are undergoing treatment for the viral infection. According to a press release issued on Wednesday by Dr Md Abdus Salam, Office Secretary of the NHA, volunteer doctors have been assigned to specific hospitals to facilitate this service.
The helplines have been established under the leadership of NHA Convenor Professor Dr Shadrul Alam and Member Secretary Dr Md Abdul Ahad.
