Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon conducted a surprise inspection of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination centres in Singair Upazila on Tuesday.
The minister arrived at the upazila at approximately 11am and visited two prominent examination venues: Joymontop High School and Sahrail High School.
According to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Khairunnahar, the sudden visit was intended to personally verify the overall situation and environment of the ongoing examinations.
During his inspection, Milon expressed his satisfaction with the level of discipline, the security measures surrounding question papers, and the “copy-free” atmosphere maintained at the centres. He further extended his thanks to the relevant authorities and staff for their roles in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examinations.
Upon concluding his visit to the Sahrail High School centre at around 12pm, the minister addressed gathered BNP activists outside the premises. He directed them to provide all necessary cooperation to support the overall examination process.
Other officials from the upazila administration were also present during the tour. Local observers noted that this surprise inspection serves as a strong message regarding the government’s commitment to transparency and rigorous monitoring of public examinations.
