Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon has expressed his deep satisfaction with the overall environment of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations.
He made the remarks on Tuesday after inspecting several examination centres and briefing journalists at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha.
The minister informed journalists at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha that the exams are being conducted in a fair and festive atmosphere, with no reports of any unpleasant incidents thus far.
During his visit, the minister personally visited several venues, including Tetuljhora High School in Savar, Joymontop High School and Shahrail High School in Singair, Manikganj, Mirpur Mafid-E-Am School and College in Aminbazar, and Model Academy in Paikpara, Dhaka.
These inspections covered centres for the SSC, Dakhil, and SSC (Vocational) examinations.
To ensure transparency and high security, CCTV cameras have been installed at every examination centre. During his visit, he monitored the internal situation of the exam halls via these cameras from the respective control rooms.
Additionally, to facilitate the smooth movement of candidates and minimize their suffering, centres within the Dhaka Metropolitan Area were ensured to be open by 8:30am.
While exchanging views with teachers and parents, the minister advised students to participate in their exams with joy and without any fear. He further issued a special request to parents and guardians to avoid gathering unnecessarily around the examination centres.
The Education minister concluded by offering his sincere thanks and gratitude to teachers, students, parents, and all relevant stakeholders for their cooperation in organising the examinations successfully.
