An NGO employee was killed after a bus hit his motorcycle from behind in Munshidpur area on Pabna-Ishwardi Highway on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Anwar Hossain, 46, a programmer at the Dashuria BRAC office.
Pakshi Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the incident and said, Anwar was travelling towards Ishwardi around 7:30am for field-level work when the bus hit his motorcycle.
He died on the spot.
Police and Fire Service personnel recovered his body from the scene. Legal proceedings are under way.
