Midland Bank PLC held a workshop on leadership excellence and crisis management at its MDB Training Institute on 11 April, as part of efforts to strengthen managerial capabilities and operational readiness, the bank said.
The programme aimed to enhance leadership skills, improve efficiency and equip branch managers with practical strategies to respond to evolving business conditions and crisis situations.
Managing Director and CEO Imtiaz U Ahmed attended the session alongside Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer Md Zahid Hossain and Deputy Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer Md Nazmul Huda Sarkar, as well as members of the Senior Management Team, divisional heads and branch managers.
The training was conducted by Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management Professor in Management and Director Training Mohammad Tazul Islam, who led sessions on leadership development, strategic management, operational excellence and crisis response.
Participants engaged in structured discussions, interactive learning and experience-sharing to build practical understanding of decision-making approaches in banking operations.
The initiative underscores Midland Bank’s focus on developing human resources, strengthening leadership depth and supporting sustainable growth through improved operational performance.
