PepsiCo Bangladesh Private Limited has recently signed an agreement with MetLife Bangladesh to provide insurance coverage for its employees and their dependents in Bangladesh.

Under the partnership, employees and their dependents will receive financial protection against accidents, disabilities and loss of life, along with in-patient, out-patient and maternity insurance coverage, said a press release on Saturday.

The agreement was signed by PepsiCo Bangladesh Private Limited Managing Director Pranav Mehta and MetLife Bangladesh Assistant Managing Director and Chief Corporate Business Officer Mohammad Kamruzzaman on behalf of their respective organisations.

PepsiCo selected MetLife as its insurance provider due to MetLife’s ‘consistent track record in claims settlement, customised solutions, advanced digital dashboard, cashless hospitalisation and ambulance services, and strong financial position, which enables faster and hassle-free claims payments, the press release said.

MetLife settled Tk2,853 crore in claims in 2025 and Tk1,384 crore in the first six months of 2026. MetLife is providing insurance protection to around 1 million individual customers and more than 300,000 employees and their dependents across over 900 organisations, according to the press release.

PepsiCo Bangladesh Private Limited is the Bangladesh affiliate of PepsiCo, a global beverage company.

In Bangladesh, the company is associated with globally recognised brands including Pepsi, 7UP, Mountain Dew, Mirinda, Lay’s, Kurkure, Aquafina and Quaker Oats.
