Midland Bank Limited has officially implemented the Digital Loan Origination Solution (DLOS) in collaboration with Unisoft Systems Limited, a subsidiary of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, to enhance its credit processing efficiency.
The inauguration ceremony for the new digital platform was held on 12th November 2025 at the bank’s Gulshan-2 head office.
Senior officials from both organisations attended the launch. Midland Bank was represented by Managing Director and CEO Md Ahsan-uz-Zaman, along with other senior executives including Deputy Managing Director Md Zahid Hossain and division heads from institutional banking, international banking, and retail distribution.
Unisoft Systems Limited’s delegation included Deputy Managing Director Abu Mostafa Chowdhury Sujon and Head of Software Development Abu Hena Muhammad Mustafa Zaman.
Speaking at the event, bank representatives emphasised Midland Bank’s ongoing commitment to improving customer experience and leading digital transformation in the banking sector.
The newly deployed DLOS software is anticipated to streamline loan processing, making it quicker, more efficient, and transparent.
Unisoft Systems Limited expressed satisfaction with the partnership, stating they were “honoured to work with such a modern bank.” The company believes the successful implementation will “open new horizons for digital solutions in Bangladesh’s banking sector.”
