The Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room reported that four people died with measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of suspected deaths since March 15 has risen to 178. However, no laboratory-confirmed deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, so the number of confirmed deaths remains at 35. The total number of deaths (suspected and confirmed) now stands at 213.
Additionally, from March 15 to date, the total number of suspected measles patients in the country has reached 22,409. Among them, 3,278 have been confirmed positive through laboratory testing.
