Associate Professor Md Israfil Prang of the Graphic Design department has been appointed as the new acting proctor of Dhaka University.
Vice-Chancellor Professor ABM Obaidul Islam handed him the responsibility on Sunday, according to a press release from the university’s Public Relations Office.
Israfil Prang will perform his duties following the rules and regulations outlined in Chapter 11 of the Dhaka University Calendar Part-2 (1997), which details the responsibilities and procedures of the proctor’s office.
The release was signed by Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Director of the Public Relations Office.
