In a remarkable humanitarian initiative aimed at easing the long-standing shortage of safe drinking water in the Modati area of Kaliganj Upazila, Lalmonirhat District, Bangladesh-based charity organization MASTUL Foundation has distributed 100 tube wells among underprivileged families.

The tube wells were officially handed over during a colorful ceremony held on 19 May at the grounds of Chamta Dimukhi High School in Kaliganj Upazila. For years, residents of this region in Lalmonirhat have suffered from severe water scarcity and lack of access to clean drinking water, resulting in various health risks and hardships in daily life.

Through this initiative, more than a hundred families are expected to gain access to safe and reliable drinking water, significantly improving their quality of life.
