In the 2025–2026 undergraduate admission test of Dhaka University’s (DU) Fine Arts Unit, nearly 76 percent of the successful candidates are women.
Among the 5,352 candidates who took the exam, 602 passed, which is 11.25 percent of the total examinees. Of those who passed, 145 are male students and 457 are female students.
The results were published on Tuesday evening. Detailed results can be found on the website ‘admission.eis.du.ac.bd’. Additionally, candidates can check their results via SMS by sending “DU FRT ‹roll no›” to 16321 from Teletalk, Robi, Airtel or Banglalink numbers.
Before the results were published, the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and other officials handed over the result documents to Vice-Chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmad Khan.
The admission test was held on 29 November. This year, 6,521 candidates applied for 130 available seats.
