Kosovo Ambassador to Bangladesh Lulzim Pllana held a meeting with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman at his office in Bashundhara area of Dhaka on Monday.
During the meeting, Lulzim Pllana inquired about Shafiqul’s health and wished him a speedy recovery. They discussed different issues, including the sociopolitical situation in Bangladesh and mutual interest between the two countries.
During the discussion, Pllana expressed Kosovo’s continued support for Bangladesh in the future. Both sides also expressed optimism about strengthening bilateral understanding.
Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Parwara and Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair were also present at the meeting. The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, the party said in a statement.
