Singer Dilshad Nahar Kona has returned with a new music video, Mon Dao, which premiered on Thursday on the Rangan Music YouTube channel.
The song features vocals by Kona and Sajib Das. MD Jamal Hossain wrote the lyrics, while Sajib Das composed the tune and arranged the music.
Saikat Reza directed the music video, which features Alankar Chowdhury as the model.
Speaking about the release, Kona described Mon Dao as a sweet and refreshing song.
“It is a very sweet song. Even with the excitement surrounding the World Cup, listeners are finding time to hear it.
We are receiving a good response. I have worked on Sajib’s compositions before, and Jamal Bhai has written beautiful lyrics.
The music video has also turned out well,” she said.
Kona expressed confidence that the song’s lyrics, composition and presentation would appeal to audiences.
She added that Mon Dao has already begun attracting music lovers despite the ongoing World Cup fever.
One of Bangladesh’s leading playback singers, Kona has built a strong reputation through her work in films, audio albums and solo releases.
