To pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the July mass uprising, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) organised a national anthem rendition and candle-lighting ceremony.
The event took place at midnight on Tuesday at the Central Shaheed Minar under the theme “Glorious Memories in Light.”
JCD announced that from July 1, month-long programmes including discussion meetings, human chains, exhibitions, blood donation camps, and cultural events will be held.
JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib, General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir, and other leaders and activists were present at the candle-lighting programme.
