Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a sixth wave of attacks on US and Israeli targets in the Middle East, state media reported.

The IRGC said it carried out “extensive missile and drone” strikes on 27 US military bases, Israel’s Tel Nof airbase, the Israeli army’s command centre at HaKirya in Tel Aviv, and a major defence industrial complex in the city.

In a statement, Iranian forces warned that they would “carry out a different and harsh step of revenge, with successive, regrettable slaps,” signalling the possibility of further retaliatory operations in the region.

The announcement comes amid escalating tensions following recent US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which have already claimed the lives of senior Iranian officials and members of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s family.

State media described the strikes as a “precise and powerful response” to what it termed “aggression by foreign powers” and said the operations targeted key military and strategic sites.

The situation raises concerns of a broader regional conflict, with multiple countries in the Middle East already imposing temporary airspace closures and increasing security measures.
