In light of the ongoing war situation in the Gulf region, the Bangladesh embassies in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Kuwait have issued urgent advisories for Bangladeshi expatriates. Separate notices call on all expatriates to exercise maximum caution and strictly follow local laws and government instructions.
The notice from the Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi states that, for safety reasons, expatriates must avoid areas near military installations and remain at home or in safe locations.
Until the danger subsides, they are advised not to go outside unless absolutely necessary, avoid staying under open skies, and refrain from unnecessary gatherings.
The citizens are advised to keep essential items with them, including cash, Emirates ID, passport, necessary medicines, mobile charger and power bank, water, and dry food.
Additionally, expatriates are urged to respect UAE laws, comply with local government directives, and refrain from uploading war-related photos or videos or spreading baseless information on social media.

Kuwait Advisory
The Bangladesh Embassy in Kuwait has issued a similar advisory. Expatriates are instructed to avoid areas near military installations, stay at home or in safe places, and not go outside unless absolutely necessary.
Bangladeshis in Kuwait are advised to keep cash, Civil ID, health insurance card, necessary medicines, mobile phone and charger, dry food, and water with them.
They are urged to strictly follow the instructions of the Kuwaiti government and refrain from posting or sharing photos or videos related to the current regional situation on social media.
