Rapper Kanye West has announced that his much-anticipated New Delhi concert, initially set for March 29, 2026, will now take place on May 23, 2026. The artist shared the update on social media, citing global geopolitical tensions as a key factor behind the rescheduling.
Event organisers explained that the safety of attendees, particularly those travelling internationally, was the primary reason for the change. “Given the current uncertainty in several regions, the original date became less viable for a large-scale international gathering,” they stated. Tickets purchased for the March show will remain valid for the new May date, and fans need not take any additional action to attend.
The New Delhi concert, set for the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, promises a career-spanning performance, combining West’s early chart-toppers with contemporary hits from his later albums. The show is expected to highlight his distinctive style, blending experimental sounds, introspective lyrics, and genre-crossing compositions that have shaped modern hip-hop and rap.
West is also preparing to release his next studio album, Bully, later in 2026. The album’s rollout will include major performances worldwide, with a flagship concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and an appearance at Italy’s Hellwatt Festival in July.
