Global smartphone brand Infinix has launched its new 5G handset, the NOTE Edge, in Bangladesh, expanding its Note series with a curved-display model positioned in the upper-mid price segment.
The Infinix NOTE Edge is priced at Tk29999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and Tk31999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The device is now available nationwide through authorised retail outlets and online platforms.
Infinix said the NOTE Edge has been developed for users seeking long-term reliability, combining durable hardware with extended software support and stable day-to-day performance. The company said evolving usage patterns in Bangladesh, where users spend longer hours on smartphones and upgrade devices less frequently, influenced the design and positioning of the handset.
The smartphone features a 3D-curved 1.5K Ultra HD Eye Protection display with ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels on all sides. Infinix said the curved screen is intended to improve comfort during prolonged use, including reading, social media browsing, video calls and entertainment. The device has a slim 7.2mm body and a pearlescent finish.
Powering the NOTE Edge is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor. Infinix said the chipset is designed to deliver consistent performance, smooth multitasking and efficient power management over extended periods, rather than short-term benchmark peaks.
The handset is equipped with a 6500mAh battery, which the company said is built to support a full day of heavy usage. It also includes battery self-healing technology aimed at slowing long-term capacity degradation and extending the overall lifespan of the battery.
On the software side, the NOTE Edge runs on XOS 16 and includes memory-aware scheduling to help maintain responsiveness during extended use. Infinix has confirmed three years of operating system updates and five years of security updates for the device.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G and features UPS 3.0 technology, which the company said can enhance weak or low-frequency network signals by up to 50 per cent, improving performance in indoor and high-traffic environments.
For imaging, the NOTE Edge comes with a 50-megapixel rear camera supported by AI RAW+ and Live Photo modes, designed to improve image quality, including in low-light conditions. The device also features dual stereo speakers and a high-brightness display.
Alongside the product launch, Infinix reiterated its long-term commitment to women’s football in Bangladesh. National women’s team footballer Ritu Porna Chakma and team captain Afeida Khandaker have joined the brand as ambassadors.
The Infinix NOTE Edge is available in four colour options: Silk Green, Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue and Shadow Black.
