Money does not equal wealth. Rather, imagination is what brings the cash flow. And it is imagination which is the true value of wealth. Let me put it this way. Instead of just thinking about doing something and expecting that money will come in, think about imagining something that will bring a multiple fold of money. Sounds great, right? But is it easy? That is the main question one has to ask to obtain the true form of wealth.
When we look at entrepreneurs and business people living lavish lifestyles, do we even stop and think about what they actually did to get that money? Did they work hard for it? Yes. Did they imagine it? Yes. You see, it is the imagination that will pay for our hard work. Imagination is what will make money work for us instead of us working for money. I know that it sounds confusing. But the truth is, rich people play it that way, while the poor fight.
Let’s have a look at some examples. People thought Jeff Bezos’ idea of selling books online was crazy and that no one would fall for his business. Now look where Amazon has come to. We are looking for products of all types on that one website. Elon Musk credits the success of Tesla and SpaceX to innovation and ideas rather than funding. Warren Buffett’s quote, “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get”, cannot be said more perfectly in connection with the modern business gurus. As per the quote, ‘value’ refers to innovation and smart application rather than just capital or funds.
When someone imagines a business idea, a similar flow of information starts to build. The product or service should not be emphasised. How the product or service will solve problems and make life easier should be prioritised. Anyone can create something and showcase it to the world. But if one creates something to solve a problem, it can hit the markets through the roof. And we know what happens when an idea hits the roof of the markets. Money flows in.
It is hard to say how broad a person’s imagination can be. Sure, people can have a wider range of imagination mapping out various consequences in their daily lives. Having an imagination that can be converted to money does not mean becoming a rocket scientist of some sort. Instead, it is the concept of thinking out of the box that plays a role. When we look at our surroundings and talk with various people, we can actually find the problems that colonise the realm. How are we going to fight against these problems is what we have to study. Execute the idea well, and you get to become rich.
In conclusion, I would like to point out a quote by Richard Branson who said, “Business opportunities are like buses; there’s always another one coming. You just have to imagine where you want to go and get on it.” Imagine boldly, predict the future of your imagination, and execute it in a precise manner. The money, not the true wealth, will flow based on innovation and value, the true forms of wealth.
