National Citizen Party (NCP) has formed an Observer and Training sub-committee ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election. Advocate Humaira Noor will serve as chairperson and Arifur Rahman Tuhin as secretary of the 15-member committee.
The formation of the sub-committee was approved by NCP’s Central Election Management Committee Chairman Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan and Secretary Monira Sharmin.
The party said the sub-committee was created to bring functional efficiency and coordination to its election management activities.
Other members of the panel include Navid Nawroj Shah, Advocate Monjila Jhuma, Abdullah Al Mahmud Jihan, Yahia Zisan, Zawadul Karim, Engineer Md. Raisul Islam, Md. Asif Uddin Samrat, Sadeq Mirza, Sharmin Akter Bina, Kazi Md. Zayed, Md. Mosleh Uddin Khan, Ahsia Akter Remija, and Tanzid Rahman.
The announcement was made in a press release signed by NCP Office Cell member Sadiya Farzana Dina.
The party said the committee will play a key role in election preparation and monitoring at the national and local levels.
