Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board in five flood-affected districts will resume on 27 July.
The announcement was made in a press release signed by Professor Syed Md Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
It said a revised schedule for the examinations postponed due to flooding will be announced soon, with the deferred tests to be held at a later date.
Students from the science group who were unable to sit for the Physics examination because of the disruption will be allowed to take the test after completing the required registration process, according to the committee.
The Chattogram Education Board initially suspended HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled for 8 July in five districts following heavy rainfall and worsening flood conditions.
As the situation deteriorated further, all examinations were postponed until 16 July before being suspended indefinitely in the affected districts.
With floodwaters receding and the overall situation improving, the board has now decided to resume examinations from 27 July.
Authorities said a separate routine for the postponed examinations is being prepared and will be published shortly.
