The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has rescheduled the official joining of 14,384 candidates recommended for the post of assistant teacher to 1 October, moving forward from the previously slated on 29 October.
A notice signed by Rajib Kumar Sarkar, deputy secretary of the ministry’s School-2 branch, confirmed that these candidates, selected under “Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2025,” must report to their respective District Primary Education Offices on the new date.
Following their official joining on 1 October, the new teachers will be posted to their respective schools on 2 October.
The ministry stated that formal appointment letters will be dispatched to the selected candidates in due course.
Once the posting process is completed on 2 October, the recruits will be sent for training programmes later.
