Consumers in Dhaka and other regions under the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited will experience low gas pressure for a 24-hour period starting at noon on Saturday.
According to a notification issued by the Titas Gas authorities, the disruption is due to essential maintenance work at an LNG terminal. This maintenance has necessitated a reduction in the gas supply received from the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) source.
The supply shortage is scheduled to affect all areas under the Titas network from 12pm on Saturday to 12pm on Sunday. The authorities have clarified that all categories of customers will be impacted by the low pressure during this timeframe.
Titas Gas management has expressed its sincere regret to customers for the temporary inconvenience caused by this technical necessity.
