A four-day Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) exhibition organised by Dhanmondi Taqwa Mosque Society began on Friday evening, marking the holy occasion of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The exhibition showcases the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), historical sites in Makkah and Madinah, Islamic heritage and replicas of the Holy Kaaba and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, said a press release on Saturday.
It also features 3D animation, presentations and special activities for children and teenagers. Seminars will be held alongside the exhibition.
Sheikh Bashir Uddin, former Commerce Adviser to the Government of Bangladesh, Chairman of Akij Bashir Group and President of Taqwa Mosque Society, visited the exhibition. Manzure Elahi, A K M Azizul Haque and Saiful Islam attended, along with other distinguished personalities at the event.
The exhibition is open to women daily from 9:30am to 12:30pm, with male visitors able to attend after the designated hours for women. The exhibition will continue until Monday.
The organisers said the primary objective is to present the life, teachings, ideals and humanitarian values of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the younger generation in an accessible and engaging manner, the press release added.
