Actor and playwright Faruque Ahmed has alleged that individuals from within his personal circle were responsible for the sudden removal of his previous Facebook account, raising concerns about online harassment and impersonation.

In a recent post, the actor said his verified page and personal profile, which together had nearly 900,000 followers, were taken down around a year and a half ago following multiple complaints. He suggested that those behind the reports were people he knew well, though he chose not to confront them directly.

The actor said he later learned the reasons behind the complaints but preferred to remain silent, describing the experience as a difficult lesson in trust.

Unable to recover the accounts, he opened a new profile to reconnect with his audience. The actor noted that the response has been strong, with around 250,000 followers joining his new page within a short period.

He also warned fans about fake accounts operating in his name, urging them to rely only on his verified profile for updates and interactions.
