Popular character ‘Gyani Goni’ is returning to screens with a fresh mix of family drama and comedy. OTT platform BongoBD is set to premiere ‘Gyani Goni 3’ from January 29.
Actor and producer Sharaf Ahmed Jibon reprises the lead role in the third instalment, once again directed by Imran Emon.
This season centres on the chaos surrounding Shali’s wedding, with Gyani Goni attempting to manage the unfolding situations using his trademark wit and intelligence. However, as he tries to keep things under control, new complications and mysteries begin to pile up. The question remains whether Goni will succeed in arranging the marriage smoothly or find himself caught in deeper trouble.
Actress Shabnam Faria joins the cast in a key role this season.
Director Imran Emon said the character continues to hold a special place with audiences.
“Through the backdrop of a wedding, we have used humour to highlight the social inconsistencies that often surface during such celebrations. We hope viewers will once again enjoy Gyani Goni’s antics,” he said.
