A resurfaced clip from the 2016 documentary ‘Mostly Sunny’ has shed light on an unusual chapter from Sunny Leone’s early career, with her brother Sandeep Vohra recalling how he made extra money by selling signed posters of the actress to his college friends.
In the documentary, Sandeep said friends would ask him for copies after seeing a framed poster in his room. He would then sell them and replace the poster with another one.
Sunny also recalled agreeing to sign the posters for Sandeep, joking that he was making money from her. She said she initially advised him to charge at least $10 or $15 for each signature.
Sandeep further revealed that Sunny used his name when she entered the adult entertainment industry. Born Karenjit Kaur, she adopted the name Sunny early in her career.
She later became a familiar face in Indian cinema after appearing on ‘Bigg Boss 5’. Her Bollywood credits include ‘Jism 2’, ‘Ragini MMS 2’, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ and ‘One Night Stand’.
Sunny was most recently seen in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Kennedy’, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. She also continues to work as a television host, including on ‘Splitsvilla’.
