A telefilm titled ‘Frame-e Bandha Bondhutto’, a psychological story directed by filmmaker Noyeem Imtiaz Neamul, explores themes of loneliness in expatriate life, the pain hidden beneath masks, the endless importance of friendship and mental refuge, the silent mental breakdown behind suicide, and relationships that remain as memories. Its tagline is ‘Time changes, but friendship does not’.
The central characters are played by Mamnoon Hasan Emon, Adhora Khan, and Emdad H. Bhuiyan (Raju). The entire shooting took place at various scenic locations in New York.
Regarding the story, the director Noyeem Imtiaz Neamul said, “Through this telefilm, we have portrayed the struggles of expatriate Bangladeshis. The smiles that hide various unknown stories behind them. I hope the audience will like this telefilm, which addresses the loneliness of expatriate life and the pain concealed under masks.”
Emon said, “A few days ago, I went to New York for a vacation. At that time, Naeem Bhai offered me the project, and I became interested in doing it because I liked the story and the character. Because we are working people—we don’t feel good without work. As the saying goes, even if a technician goes to heaven, he’ll still thresh paddy. It was something like that. The director has taken great care in making it. I hope everyone will like it once it’s released and promoted.”
According to sources from the production team, ‘Frame-e Bandha Bondhutto’ will be released on the NY71TV YouTube channel on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
