Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin has assured that the Election Commission will not act in favour of any party and will perform its duties impartially in accordance with the law.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday afternoon at the EC headquarters, he said the commission is steadily progressing despite visible and invisible challenges ahead of the February elections.
“We are moving forward to deliver a historic election as a gift to the nation. The chief adviser has full confidence in the commission, and we intend to uphold that trust,” he added.
Election Commissioner Anwarul Islam emphasised, “The commission’s backbone remains firm. We will work with complete professionalism to ensure a free and fair election.”
