In the DUCSU election, Umama Fatema, the VP candidate of the Independent Student Unity panel, has alleged that posters of the election campaign of the Chhatra Shibir-supported panel were placed inside the polling booths at voting centers.
On the spot, it was observed that posters of Chhatra Shibir, along with posters of Chhatra Dal’s central union election campaign, were placed inside the polling booths.
“Chhatra Shibir has been assisted by the election commission to rig the election,” she said.
Furthermore, Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) vice president (VP) candidate Abdul Kader from the Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad panel has claimed that in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election, the election commission and university administration have collectively assisted Chhatra Shibir in committing irregularities.
He shared this information in a post from his verified Facebook ID.
Abdul Kader said, “We did not want such a DUCSU election, where Chhatra Shibir and BNP-Jamaat would together engage in election engineering.”
He further stated, “The election commission and university administration have divided roles and assisted Chhatra Shibir in rigging the election and committing irregularities.”
