Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election will serve as a model for other polls, said Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. He expressed confidence that the election will be conducted smoothly, with voters participating voluntarily and enthusiastically.
Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Tuesday, he said, “This election will act as a model for everyone. While it cannot be equated with national elections, it will definitely serve as an example.”
He added that considering the current law and order situation in the country, there will be no obstacles to holding national elections in a proper manner.
