Dhaka’s Metrorail service experienced a temporary disruption after an unmanned drone crashed onto its elevated track. The incident occurred on the line connecting the Uttara Centre and Uttara South stations.
Service was halted while crews worked to remove the fallen drone from the guideway. Operations returned to normal immediately following the clearance of the obstruction.
In a public notice, the transit authority apologised for the temporary inconvenience caused to its passengers. No injuries or damage to the infrastructure beyond the immediate incident were reported.
